Google Bundles Chrome with Flash – So What?

Google recently announced that it will begin bundling it’s Chrome web browser with Flash. The announcement comes right around the release of the iPad which does not support Flash at all. What does this mean for web users and the future of Adobe Flash? Probably not much.

Should Google Fight Chinese Censorship?

By now a lot of people probably have heard that Google has made the decision to pull out its search operations from China. Now searches from China will be redirected to the Hong Kong version of the site, which is uncensored. Some people see this as a retreat, a surrender or a forfeit on part of Google. The question is, should Google fight Chinese censorship?

A webmistress asked me recently how much I would charge to optimize her site for the search engines. I took a glance at her site, and the first thing I found was a hidden link to an association she was part of.

I asked her why the link was there. She told me it was “for the search engines.” It never ceases to amaze me how much really bad – I mean absolutely horrible – advice is floating around the Internet.
